In October 2013, the International Council for Raising Competitiveness of Leading Russian Universities approved the “Roadmap” for implementation of the programs aimed at raising ITMO’s competitiveness among the world’s leading research and education centers in 2013 – 2020. The Roadmap was approved by the Ministries of Education and Science of the Russian Federation on November 28, 2013.

 

In March 2015, the International 5-100 Council approved the “Roadmap” for implementation of the programs aimed at enhancing ITMO’s competitiveness among the world’s leading research and education centers in 2013 – 2020 (Stage 2: 2015 – 2016). 

 

According to the Roadmap, the main avenues of transformation and development of ITMO University are formulated into six strategic initiatives:

Strategic Initiative 5. “Growth of the Innovation Ecosystem Potential: Knowledge and Technology Transfer”

Strategic Initiative 6. “Transformation and Development of the University Management System”
